The client's love of plants was incorporated into a planting design that looks great year round and does not compete with the spectacular views in the distance.
This complicated project on an environmentally critical slope involved merging a second lot and creating garden walls and terraces to unify the property. Lushly planted garden spaces adjoin patios and decks. The property also features an elegant water feature, a play lawn, and a large raised-bed vegetable garden. The steep climb to the front entry of the house is now a pleasant journey through terraced planting beds where the owner's collection of garden art is displayed.

A full-sized pickle ball court was sited to be viewed from a spacious, sunny stained concrete patio and an elegant covered outdoor dining pavilion. This garden was designed for a family with young children. Soft, low-maintenance synthetic turf was installed to create two play areas adjacent to family entertainment spaces. As the children mature, the turf will be replaced with lush planting beds.
